Lightbulb Nitrous Owners, It's your time to shine..

Don't see too much on the forum from people using nitrous. Like the recent AGP turbo thread this would be a good place to post your nitrous setups. This would also make a good informative for people just getting into nitrous as well

Motor (CI):
Brand:
Horsepower Shot:
Cam:
Trans/Clutch/Converter:
Fuel System (E85, dedicated fuel setup, etc.) :
Other Nitrous Extras:
Installed/ Tuned by:
Horsepower/Torque Numbers before and after spray:
1/4 mile time/speed/60ft:

And of course Pics of your setup would also be a nice addition.

When I did have nitrous...

Stock ls3
150 shot
Dedicated fuel cell (e85 in both tanks)
235/239 112 lsa stage 4 TSP N/A cam
Nitrous outlet 102 FAST Plate system
Stock clutch
Stock trans
474/434 before spray | 618/655 after
Installed by a friend
Tuned by DSM LIGHTS

Car ran great on this setup and hurt a lot of feelings

I love boost and my new found power but I'm glad I went the nitrous route first!!

I've never heard if running e85 in both tanks. Did you get away with pulling less timing?

Well if you're referring to being able to pull more timing as if I was on 93 in the tank and e85 in the dedicated fuel cell then yes. I mostly did it out of convenience because I would also run n/a frequently and the car gained some good power on e85 through out the curve while n/a.

That wasn't a bad idea then. How much N/A horsepower did you gain on E85 though?

No other 5th gen owners spraying? I know there's got to be more guys than that. Old setups count too btw.

Not much. Gained about 8rwhp through out the curve but only 5rwhp peak. Torque was a lot more like 12rwtq peak and throughout the curve.

If I have a Zl1 fuel pump, do I need a separate fuel pump for a 150 shot ? Its just a cam car.

430 cu, little TVS 2300 Blower maxed out but assisted somewhat by Nitrous Outlet Direct Port 250 shot, E85 main and E98 dedicated, 430 cu, ported Mast large bore heads, very healthy cam. Should have went F1X but still a very unique setup by 21st Century Muscle Cars
No dyno numbers, still working bugs out of new build.

That's going to be killer. What's your compression?

you wont "melt" your pistons with nitrous unless you are greedy or not tuned for it
