It's the late 80s all over again!
The resurgence of the pony car era has been great for car enthusiasts.
But with the exception of the added Challenger, it seems very reminiscent of the late 80s: The Mustang is less expensive, less refined and less powerful. But it has a stronger more affordable aftermarket that is very eager to level the playing field. The Camaro is a better performer, at a steeper price with healthy but not quite robust aftermarket support. The Challenger was not around in the late 90s. The fwd turbo Daytona were okay if you were comfortable with torque steer. |
