Question Totaled SS 1LE

I'm going to have an opportunity to look through some parts of my buddy's 2014 or 2015 SS 1LE Manual Trans car that he recently totaled. I'm definitely interested in his stock NPP mufflers and MGW shifter. Are there any other cool pieces that will direct swap onto my 2010 2SS Manual Trans car that I should look into?

Sorry for the loss!

1LE sway bars and rear control arms would be a good grab. The 3.91 rear and axles would be a good grab.

Will he be willing to sell anything? I need a 6 speed console plate and shifter boot.

Cool! I'll check those out. I can see how much he wants to sell that stuff for, sure.

Hate to hear that bro, also sorry for your friends loss, hope he is alright!! I would also look into the shocks and struts as well, if they don't have a ton of miles on them, as long as you are removing some of the suspension, springs maybe and the wheels if they aren't messed up. And if he has one installed, maybe grab the CAI... Does it have the Reccaro seats, if it does, gold right there!! Maybe grab the center console gauges while you're at it. Ok I'll stop there. So many things you could grab due to them NOT being made anymore by GM..

Honestly if damage was in the front I'd say just swap the whole rear cradle, get all the suspension and diff stuff in one package with a neat little bow, although I know nothing about the whole driveshaft situation and if that will bolt up fine.

I may know someone interested in the brake calipers if they're in good condition.

Yeah, it sucks. He is ok though thankfully. It was a cool car for sure. It had a stage 4 cam (can't remember which brand it was). I guess the shocks and struts would be nice. I just put some BMR 1.25" lowering springs on my car, so I guess I could still use those with the 1LE shocks. I already got a CAI thanks to @The_bald_eagle_machine. It DOES have the Recaro seats... Hmmm I forgot about those
The center console gauges, are they any different than the ones in my car?

You talking about the trim pieces between the roof panel and the door?

Ok, cool. I'll check them out and see what they look like for ya.

I'll check and see how much he'll sell the stuff y'all are interested in if I can and then post it back on here.

Yes, the springs and the 1LE shocks and struts are compatable. So glad your friend is alright though!! And again, those Reccaro seats are worth a ton of money out there!! Lots of people have been looking for a set. If you don't use them, he could sell them for a good price. They aren't cheap, that's for sure!! The center console gauges are the same as yours.

Sweet. Thanks! I'll see how much he wants for those shocks and struts and the Recaro's and maybe work out a deal.

Awesome! Good luck. You might want to grab some of the interior trim pieces too. I saw a guy looking for the lower plastic trim pieces that are on the bottom of the inside door frame beside the seats. They are not being made anymore he says, oh and maybe the radio/ac head unit, Dash gauge cluster. Couple of guys looking for them.

I'll have to go over there and check out what all is even salvageable on it. I haven't seen it yet. Yeah, I'd be glad to help some people out on here if I can. What I can probably do is add his Facebook Marketplace link in here if that's how he lists it for parting out. Do you know if the 1LE steering wheel will swap into my car? The buttons look to be pretty much the same on it.
