I normally rinse then foam, then two bucket wash. What's everyone's opinion on rinsing first?

Water on the surface doesn't allow the foam to stick on the car as long as it does when done dry.
The longer it stays on, the more dirt/road film it removes/loosens off the surface when rinsed. The less dirt on the car before you touch it with a wash mitt/pad, the less chance of wash induced marring on the paint.

Getting the hang of it...
Ok. I know it looks kind of weak, especially compared to a cannon, but I get the principle now. Next time there will be more suds!
I also finally got a wash mitt. Wish I had tried one a long time ago. It really makes it a faster wash job compared to using microfiber cloth.

I use an Adams polish foam gun and their shampoo, then 2 bucket wash on the body, I even started foaming the vert top and it has worked well, I wash to whole car before rinsing, after wash I have a 20 volt Black and Decker blower to blow out all the places water stays like the lug nuts, mirrors, front grille than use a drying micro fiber towel with detail spray to finish drying. Try to stay out of the sun but with the Adams shampoo it doesn't matter as much. Works well.

I already took the blower back. I just really like drying the old school way plus it was a little bit of a hassle dragging the cord out.

Foam cannon that I bought on Amazon was 20 to 30 bucks. At first I thought it was awesome. After trying many settings and soaps, it is the best money I have spent on detailing. Just experiment with soap and settings. Meguiars gold class does a good job. When you get the settings right it will be a shaving cream consistency.
