Just got off the phone with Owen...
I will know more after we get pics and send them to Monster for their explaination. But lets say its probably a good thing we babied it... it was not a regular glazing.

The Ceramic pucks were coming apart and flaking onto the disc, there are also grooves in the disc itself. Calling Monster now, will talk to them and send them pics later.

NOW FOR THE REPLACEMENT:

you will have to wait a little longer for specifics and build photos

BUT DAYUM.... I get so excited when Owen calls me. He has an energy when talking about cars that I have never seen.... you all saw it this weekend!

so mini update:

pictures of the new build are coming soon. And since most of you already know. DETROIT MUSCLE is getting an ARD 4L80E Full Manual Valve Body Transmission. Sorry to the LS3 guys.... but I am ready for some REAL quick 1/4 times and the ARD tranny is the way to go. I will miss my clutch pedal... but this should be real FUN

a little delay right now with getting the transmission in, I will not get my car till next friday (since I will be in NYC), which means I will be missing the bikini car shoot, but thats ok. I have a few guys willing to man up for it anyway.

In my downtime.. I had this idea... hmmm, the car could be delayed... that means they will have it for another week... what to do what to do....

well I figured it out... Since ARD will have my car for an extra week... and they only have a little bit of work that needs to actually be completed on the trans... and I do not want them to get bored....
