It is a pretty popular combo purchase so I know there are plenty of members around here that should be able to provide some feedback on it. I may have to try to find a local customer to help us shoot a good video of it.

i know its really popular, but ive never seen a vid of it ?

Im debating a purchase recently, but idk. just kinda feeling around.

i still have my resonators but idk if i should put them on or not. btw, is the pipe they put in its place okay if it is smaller then the stock pipe widths? does that do anything to power, sound, idk haha

Keep in mind it is popular when WE install headers. I cannot say I have seen anyone really use the X pipe without the headers. No real reason to do so.

I will say that it is a MUST if you plan to run headers in the future! I've got a standard X pipe (pypes cat back) and by its self sounded good IMO but once I added headers that went out the window and sounded like CRAP! I added resonators in the back where the mufflers were to cut down on the rasp since I didn't want to cut up my stainless system good luck with your decision.

im going bbk with hf cats. so im assuming I will need the x pipe since my resonators are gone.

they replaced my resonators with a small 2 inch silver steel pipe is that okay?

I dont have any vids of my 2010 2ltrs but had the res x pipe with mrtv2 and shorty headers. The sound was great, deep and more throaty with that combo. When I took off the stock resonators it made the car only a little louder and deeper, car had a more "hollow" bass sound from the resonator area. Sounded good.

I have the OBX headers, Magnaflow X-pipe, and MRT 2.0's

Here is my thread on the header and X pipe install with some videos from test and tune day at the track.
