I have a friend of mine that is a tech for Cadillac and when he has the roadside assistance truck he has a Tech2 with him. Can I accomplish the same thing with a Tech2 ?

It works for me too. I was really impressed with the change it made in my car.

My car seems to pull a little harder. Nothing to loose but time doing the fuse pull.

Scam

noun 1. a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; swindle.
verb (used with object), scammed, scamming. 2. to cheat or defraud with a scam.
I don't think this qualifies as a scam.

Let me ask a couple of dumb questions since Im just now finding this thread:

1) Does this work with a 2013 L99?? I saw this thread was started way back in 2009.....

2) Does it effect gas mileage negatively in normal everyday driving?

3) If you did the reset and then ran cheap gas in the car, would it make a difference?? Or does it have to be top-grade gas to see a difference?

I am too late on this thread but my L99 has been acting sort of sluggish and now I'm wondering if this is the problem because ever since I took delivery I have only used 93 fuel. One question though, what if I have a tune on the car, will the fuse pull have any effect on it at all?

Just pulled them. Hoping I notice a difference! I just bought the car with 60k miles so I'm guessing at some point someone put 87 in there lol

I did the fuse pull today around 11:30 and put them back in at 4:00. I noticed a difference. The throttle seemed more responsive and the car in general didn't feel bogged down. I parked it at home and took it back out around 5:00, and it was back to being sluggish. I filled up last at a QuickTrip 91 Octane. I wonder if some of the 91's are borderline? I usually fill up at a Shell station. I will have to try and get a couple of good tanks in and try again.

Very few stations out here have 93
