Well not expecting this; but Chris is having trouble loading it on the dyno. He has been communicating with Tracy Lewis the past 2 weeks. Tracy also informed him not to lock up the converter on the dyno since it is a single disc and will only lock up on the highway. It would be hard on the converter and the 6L50E just to show 'high numbers'.

This part of the project was supposed to take 2 months and as of today we are at 5 months 10 days. Chris sent Tracy the tune files and Tracy and Will (overkill) are working on the tune, they have my build list.

Update - well after talking with Tracy, Chris and Bo White, I found out that we won't be able to do any pulls with a single disc on my build. We will just have to infer power output based on 1/4mi times and race weight.

Optic Armor polycarbonate windshields were ordered last night. Getting them shipped straight to Tracy Lewis Performance. Should drop another 31lbs.

Currently down in Palmetto, Florida for the weekend. Talked a great deal with Tracy about the build, walked around the car discussing everything and the plans and expected outcomes. Tracy believes the best transmission for my setup and class is a TH400 with a trans brake instead of a 4L80E.

The front and rear polycarbonate windshields were delivered and just ordered the 92 dark star 17x4.5 front runners.

Mounted up the race star industries 92 dark star front runners, 17x4.5. The 17x4.5s weigh 18lbs each (set is 36lbs) well the factory reproductions Style 41 ZL1 18x8 weigh 24.4lbs each (set is 48.8lbs). So a loss of 12.8lbs (6.4lbs each corner) with just the runners, will calculate the difference in rubber later.

I prefer the 92 dark star look over the z/28 design.
