Willing to bet my little cobalt will give both your cars a run for their money, it's also the slowest car I've owned, and traps 116 in the 1/4. What have you got?

To be fair, isn't an SRT8 most closely comparable to a 2ss/rs? Leather seats, special badging, spoilers, wheels, etc. So it's not an 13k difference, it's more like a 5k difference?

Everyone always talks about the 1ss for price but then talks about 2ss options.

I think the Typical 2SS will be about 9K less really...

45K for a SRT8 vs 36K...

Now if you really option the Camaro out it will get closer to 40K. I don't know what other options are availible on the SRT8 though....

Something else, don't you love how the Trims do you?

"Ok well the 1SS is 31.5 or so, but for just a few more grand I can get the 2SS which has all the bells and whistles!! Oh well gotta add the RS pkg, and we will want some stripes, maybe the hurst short throw YEA!!..... Oh no... 37K...back to the 1SS "

You can make anything fast....its still a little Cobalt.

I could put a nitrous kit on a hamster...its still a hamster.

I am not impressed with a Cobalt in any trim....that goes for fast hamsters too.

Only reason why I didn't go with the SRT because of the 10,xxx+ extra I'd have to pay plus I knew I was getting a 2SS. Got the R/T and have no regrets especially since my 2SS will be rougly $38,xxx with the same amount of hp and lighter then the SRT.

Oops if this double posted- but using the builder including things like polished wheels and stripes and the fact that the manual is more on the srt8 and the auto is more on the ss. I got a 36k-37k price for the Camaro 2ss and mid 42 to mid 43s for the SRT8 when I tried to make the options as close as I could. I couldn't make the stereos match because you go straight from pretty basic to dvd. When I went option for option to the best of my ability- I took off the RS, but added the interior trim plus polished 20s plus stripes.

Lol you don't even have an srt8. My little "hamster" can still smack around both of your cars while getting 35mpg. Try to get your pig challenger to do that. I simply stated I am not impressed with srt8's(except for the jeep), and you rag on me because one of my cars is a cobalt? At least I didn't buy the shittier challenger...

That's par for the course for a Challenger guy.

He talked smack about your car, you called him out, and he punked out. I'd bet money your car would beat his.

And just think, your car is faster and ALOT cheaper too!

If they compared timeslips, the Challenger guy wouldn't be the one laughing.
