To me it is worth it, I am about to dismount my front plate as I would prefer to run without it. The plate holder was already on the car, so been lazy and just mounted the plate, but that will change. To me the front lic plate is a fix it ticket, and if you get a speeding ticket, you cop out to the no lic and dissmiss the speeding and all good, no moving violations.

Sorry to hear about the ticket. IMO THATS A CHICKEN $HIT TICKET.

Yes its the law and I understand why they want them on a car however people drive everyday down the road by cops and they dont pull them over.
However some cops use that Law as a I need to pull someone over BINGO sports car no front license plate blue lights !!!!!!!!!

i'M NOT SAYING ALL COPS Some may pull you over everytime they see it.
But most will just watch as you drive by on a daily basis and pull you over when they need another mark for there wall.

most cops don't care. he/she was just being a d!#k. was it a state trooper? because they are real anal about that. Beside, most newer cars today aren't designed for a front plate. It just looks bad. get a lawyer to dismiss it.

Got 2 warnings in the past on other cars (Camry and Lexus) for no front plate (in TX) and both times it was State Trooper. No other reason for stopping me, but no tickets given either.

That's still against the law. It reads you have to have it on the "front" of the car.

I've read many post about DPS giving tickets out for that infraction. I've been lucky in Houston. I know Bellaire give tickets out for that offense.

Recent clarifications in the law means on the dash will not be sufficient. It should be on the front of the vehicle.
