I meant as an option, if it isn't available as an option then hopefully it won't require a dash kit/amp/etc.... to install a proper audio system.

Now if you want insane acceleration and amazing cornering abilities feel free to explore the route I went. My gt500 was 38k out the door with only 15k miles. I am only $500 (pulley and tune) from 625 crank HP with a stout engine straight from the factory. Throw on Drags Radials and you have a 10s capable car with the right driver.

That's what I meant, not available as an option

That's disappointing for 6th gen customers. Bad move by GM, but at same time aftermarket setup can be better.

As far as I know, you can't get Bose on a 1SS.
I was going through the same thing as you. It was time to part with my GTO and I got my 15 1SS/RS with Bose for 10K off sticker before my trade-in because they're clearing out their inventory. Made my decision easy. I'm sure if I would have waited I could have got an even better deal.

Honestly, for the price, you get more car with the Mustang. However, I love pushrod motors so much that I don't know if I could deal with having a modular motor that comes in the Mustangs. However, I might be going to the darkside next year or late this year.

I don't understand what is the cause of all the hate towards the Mod Motor? It's a great platform and a proven design. You don't have to worry about swapping pushrods or rocker arms. Sure, there's more timing chains, but it's just like any other timing chain. They go on a certain way. Both have pros/cons and are both great platforms to have fun with.

Will be is more like it. If you want a good audio system you need to put it together. Even Kicker speakers are better than the factory Bose. That's saying something.

You show me where you can find a GT350 for $47,000. Ill buy it today. I haven't seen one under $55,000 and every 16 ive seen is marked at $60K+. I got my 14' 1LE 5 months ago for $32k and there are a bunch priced like that right now. So that's a $450 car payment vs a $900 car payment. That's a HUGE difference.

1). GT350 IS a production car. Comes of off the same line as the base and GT Mustangs.

2). They made 137 in model year 2015. 100 GT350's, 37 R's. You are right that only 50 of the GT350's will have the track pack option. For the 2016 MY, they are saying 5000 or so will be produced with around 500 of them being R trim.

3). The GT350 MSRP's at under $50K.
I look forward to seeing some pictures of at least one of your GT-350's that you ordered. I guess you changed your name from Ztwentypoop according to post #33. You didn't like the name I suggested of GT35poop?

IMO, both the '15 Camaro and the '15 Mustang are both great cars. If you drive both and the cars are pretty even to you, then go with the car that you get a better deal on. I enjoy my car so much, that if something happened to it, I would have to get another one. Good luck with your decision.

all im going to say is, if you're getting v8 and plan on modding the car that coyote motor is amazingly fast with just some bolt ons and a tune but my god is it hideous.. if power is not on your mind but want a v8 the 1le would be just perfect for you

I have both cars, and I try and remain as objective as possible when evaluating the two. The Camaro, speaking from a 1LE owner's POV, significantly outhandles the mustang. It's not even close. Camaro is planted on rails in the twisties. However, the edge goes to the Stang when you're comparing the engines. The Coyote is so fun much fun to drive. I love its free-revving nature. With cold air intake, tune and headers, it becomes a whole new beast. I hate how sluggish and lethargic the LS3 feels, even after I added long tubes, CAI, and tune.

Both cars have shit interiors IMO. The gimmicky shiny metallic plastic air plane knobs in the mustang are funny.
