ZL1 seats

not sure if this should go into the ZL1 section, so please move if it should..

i have a line on a complete set ( front and rear) Zl1 seats. i have not seen these in person yet but look to be in very nice condition. they are black with the suede inserts and red stitching. the guy is asking $800 for them and was wondering if that is a decent deal.

also, other than the materials they are made with, are there any difference in the bolstering of the seats compared to a "10 SS?

The bolstering is the same as the SS seats.

I probably would have said no to that question, but only because the 5th Gen ZL1 seats are so much more comfortable than the SS seats. Maybe the bolstering is the same but the seats are a definite upgrade. I had 2 SS cars before going ZL1 and have always liked that seat.

The suede/leather combo probably makes it way more comfortable but it is essentially a reskinned SS seat. The only real seat that was different were the Recaro made Z28 seats.

there was also a zl1 recaro heated option, along with a ss recaro option on the 1le and ss.

Ah I was referring to the standard ZL1 seats.
