SS 1LE Rear Spoiler

Im curious if there are any aftermarket Rear Spoilers that can replace the 1LE Rear Spoiler and match up to the same mounting holes?

the 1LE rear spoiler is held down by double sided tape not sure if there are holes. You could go with the ZL1/1LE spoiler

I've only found 1 so far and don't know if it's any good, but it is inexpensive

Wouldn't you basically need a donor trunk from an SS car at that point?

Yes, any of the coupe decklids with the "triple stanchion" wing on it will work (Non-1LE SS, ZL1, and I think even some of the higher-optioned I4 and V6 cars might have it).

There are 9 holes in the SS 1LE decklid for the OE spoiler: 3 for threaded studs on the LH side, 3 slots for clips in the middle, and 3 more threaded stud holes on the RH side. Only 2 of the existing 9 holes will line up (the middle threaded stud hole on each side). The others would need to be sealed somehow and then you'd have 4 more holes to punch out. Here's a crappy drawing that gives a rough representation of how it's laid out. Black are existing holes in the SS 1LE decklid and green are the ZL1 1LE mounting locations.

Since the holes in the 1LE trunk are different than the SS & ZL1 trunk, you need a donor trunk or have to drill extra holes and fill/cover some others. The donor or new trunk should be from a 2017 (or later) SS or ZL1 since they have the extra reinforcement same as the ZLE trunk if you want to use the wing. I have also heard the trunk support rods are different to support the extra weight of the big wing.

This one looks like it's actually made for the 1LE
