Coolant Hose Capped

I’ve been looking everywhere online trying to find what this hose goes to. It’s not attached to anything and it’s capped. I can’t find anything coolant diagrams or radiator schematics online. Been looking for days and even waiting to get schematics from Chevy, if they can find something. Anyone have this same hose in their bay? If so, where is it running to? It’s capped off.

It is suppose to connect to a metal pipe near the crank pulley. It is part of the oil cooler/heater. I know, an oxymoron.

ACtually this one was raised in texas, it’s new to Ohio. Hasn’t met the cold yet lol.

Otherwise, yes, it could be more clean ha.

Ok, I’ll try to get back under there and look. Why would the previous owner have this capped??

They probably deleted the cooler and didn't change the hose. There is a one piece replacement hose that deletes the connector and the smaller bypass hose.

Look at where the oil pan meets the block, on the driverside. The oil cooler mounts in that area. Near the oil filter.

If the Camaro has a catch can it may be the original PCV hose.
