anyone else had their CAI do this?

I was looking over the datalogs from my visit to the dragstrip last night, and noticed that I was waaaaayyyyyyyyy down on airflow. I think this might be why:

The insulation on the firewall/back side of the box is still stuck, but the insulation on the air filter side has completely lost all of its tack. It was pulled right up to the bottom of the air filter and was blocking off quite a bit of airflow coming in.
I'm sure I can "fix" this, but wanted to point this out to you other CAI owners so that you can keep an eye on this.

Had the same thing happen. I used some 3M 2 sided tape strips to put it back, so far, so good.

Personally, I don't see why that stuff is even necessary. I would just remove it altogether. I my rotofab doesn't have it and I'm definitely not suffering any loss.

I'm pretty sure I saw a picture somewhere of the thermal data on the camaro too? Not sure where I saw it though.
