Hmmmm lots of cops on this forum it turns out heh...

Honestly, it can be said this way. Some cops abuse their power, others do not. Some enforce the laws fairly, justly and remember that they are PUBLIC servants that are there to serve and protect the PUBLIC, while others are unjust, corrupt and serve their own needs.

There are both sides of the story. Remember which one the media GLORIFIES! They never show cops doing good things on the news, they only show the bad. So do not assume all cops are bad. It is probably a small percentage. But the fact that it still happens - does as said here already - spoil the bunch.

Its like going to a nice restaurant and you order the most expensive dish and find rat droppings. You probably will never go to that chain of restaurants again, but that does not mean they are all bad.

Unfortunetly, the bad publicity from the tainted restaurant will gain more attention than the good. That is the media for you. So you cannot go around cop bashing them all.

For the record I HAVE EXPERIENCED both sides. I have had a unjust cop pull me over then fail to provide reason etc. and end up admitting he was wrong. And I have had met many cops who are amazing individuals and lovingly serve the public.

Damn, I guess add you to the list of people's feelings I hurt in the last 12 hrs... LOL I was gonna list my 1st car but I use that one all the time('80 Olds Cutlass Cruiser station wagon)...a Toyota was just the 1st car I saw when typing the post
SO tag your it..... at least now I am officially on vacation so my hurting people's feeling is over til next Friday morning.

Over 3 years driving a modded Camaro SS (not 1 ticket). But I do have a Passport radar detector in my Camaro.
I love to haul butt, but rarely go much over the speed limit. I just get up to the speed limit quickly.

But I get a ticket for doing 61 in a 50mph zone driving the Toyota SUV.

So the theory that the Camaro is a ticket magnet isn't valid for me.

we look at cars all day long....whether it be Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, BMW, Mercedes, Porshce.....or just a regular ole' Toyota
Its all in the way you drive it.
That's the way it should be, but it isn't that way everywhere. I was pulled over for no front plate, coasting down a hill, on a sunny summer morning with no traffic around me. I have never put a front plate on my truck, 13 years and counting, but my car made it 3 days after I bought it. Profiling the car, period. Same roads, same LEOs, the only difference was the vehicle.

Yesterday, I had a subway melt. It had ham, turkey, and bacon on it... it was ok. I have had better, but it got the job done I suppose.
