Water Spots on Stripes
100+ degrees and sprinkler at work went off. Spots will not come off, any suggestions? Have tried light buffing, didn't want to burn them.

This is something that I kind of stumbled upon, I used a little bit of rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth, at first it worked real good on the paint, then I used a little on the stripes, and it worked, I also follwed up with some turtle wax ICE, I have been using armorall extreme shield wax, but it leaves water spots but it does make for washing the car down easier and for getting the bugs off.

Its gonna depend largely on how bad they are... start simple with a little white vinegar and see if that will dissolve whatever minerals are there, be sure to only start this process if the stripes are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight. Never let anything, especially chemicals or cleaners, dry on them. You can lightly clay the spots as well, just be very gentle as the possibility of 'marring' the vinyl is high and you don't want to put more damage in.
You can also try to polish lightly with a VERY fine abrasive (like our Fine Machine Polish or Revive), and see where it gets you. With the vinyl you just have to be extremely careful about introducing harsh chemicals b/c theres always the possibility of staining, discoloring, or damaging the stripe further. Any chance you can get a picture of the issue? |

You could try the spot removers, vinegar, or the clay. Stay away from polish as it will shine up the areas you polish more than the matte surroundings.
I hate giving advice for vinyl because it's so easy to ruin it with the wrong product or application. I really just hate vinyl
