Installed my new strut bar yesterday

Thanks Maureen for the great service and price!!

Anyway, my friend came over yesterday and machined polished it, then painted the ends flat black. I love it, I think it looks great!

Is it OEM from the convertible or aftermarket?

Correct, it's the OEM one that comes on the convertable.

Here are a couple of other pics:

does this bar have nuts under the strust tower that connect to the bolts?

If you have a 2011, the 6 threaded holes are already there, it a simple bolt on. You are supplied with 6 (13mm) bolts that just screw in.

These will not fit on 2010's unless you do some type of modification.

Is the modification only drilling these 6 holes, and treating the bare metal with primer, then installing and bolting down the bar?

I don't have the equipment to drill this out, but if this is all that is needed, I can certainly find a place to do it.

I'm not sure how you would do this, I'm sure someone who knows can chime in.

I think I had to do this with a Hotchkiss brace back on one of the 3rd gens I had, but thought I would check with others here. Hopefully the strut tower geometry is the same, and all that is needed would be the holes drilled.

EDIT: Never mind, found my answer in this thread, the strut towers have a different geometry in the 2011 model year and onwards. Without some sort of shim kit, the factory brace won't work with just simply drilling 6 holes on the 2010. :(

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150811

Too bad, I like the price and look of the factory brace best out of the options.
