Not really, they'll be able to tune for idle and flow. You'll have room to grow!

Hey Hammdo what's your findings and or opinion based off of your findings of testing intercooler issues ? Ill be running a 2.75 pulley with the stock adm setup. Any reason I should have issues if I'm running that combo ? I do have lt headers and full 3" exhaust without cats (as soon as I punch them out) and an adm stage 1 pd cam. Im debating now if I should do some cooling upgrades but I figured youd know where money is best spent in this regard (basically after spending 5500 ish on everything If I can make a minor upgrade that will help cooling ill do it. Basically I'd like to stick under a few hundred bucks. Anything you recommend for that ? Ive debated trying a pair of 12" cooling fans on the stock exchanger or maybe getting a cheaper dual pass one without fans. Or maybe just doing a larger reservoir. Thanks

Where you are, I'd do just the Varimax pump upgrade for your intercooler. If you don't see 100* days, you should be good. That way, you'll have the ZL1 pump flow with a reservoir! What Temps do you see in the summer?

Outside of that, I would not go crazy, unless you want to race ;o) Here in Texas where I'm seeing 110*+, I'm looking to keep as close to Ambient as possible without a chiller.

In the summer it's very rare to see over 95. Probably 85 to 90 is considered hot here. Sounds like a good idea Ill grab a varimax pump. Maybe I can sell my bosch. I must say though I opened the adm box today and that stock heat exchanger is so tiny it makes me wanna upgrade lol..... did you ever try the dual varimax pumps ?

Pump finally shipped! Soon....

I know it looks thin, but it will be fine if your just driving on the street. The upgrade, however, would improve temp recovery. Use what you have first since you may find it works fine in your environment. If you find the temps get higher, upgrade later. The pump will help move the fluid and aid in cooling...

Did the NCM Hotlaps on Friday in Bowling Green! Danny Johnson (JOHNONROD) met me there and introduced me to Matt -- man, these guys can DRIVE!

Matt took me out in the STOCK Z06 and let me tell you, that car STOCK is AMAZING! Wow, can that car handle STOCK (well, with Michelin's and updated Dot4)!

I'll post up some picks and a video Danny took, but wow, what a day. Danny is an amazing guy, and, I'm so sad the Festivus was cancelled. Danny and the crew at NCM did a lot of work to get that going, we just let them down by not signing up enough folks... What a beautiful track...

Finally, my second Varimax came in. Now, to find the time to do the install. May run dual heat exchangers to see if that helps also...

I considered running dual stock ones but I wasn't sure how much it would hurt flow.

Lot of debate on that -- the single varimax will be better than the dual bosch. Now dual varimax pumps -- we'll see!

Got new shoes on her today! Goodyears again, bought them for the Festivus, but, alas, not to be.

Still, save the old ones as backup (for a while), will get it re-aligned to 'street driving'...
