My first (minor) glitch at 4000 miles.

It was bound to happen. I posted a couple of weeks ago how at 3500 miles, I had no issues whatsoever with my SS....

Well...it happened. My seatbelt chime went nutzo. I entered the car put in the key and started the engine without my seatbelt on (I was planning to idling for a few minutes). The chime sounded off...it didn't stop. I stopped the engine. It still wouldn't stop. I pulled out the key...still chiming away. I locked the car (with me in it). Still kept chiming. WTF??

When I restarted the car, it finally stopped. Oh well...no car is perfect I guess. Lets hope that's as wierd as it gets.

As much as his typing hurts my eyes with the CAPS lock stuck... it probably kept sensing you sitting there. If it happens again I'd have it checked.

Sure, except I pulled out the key. At that point, why does the car think I need my seatbelt.

If you think about it the radio was probably on too. As soon as you open the door everything magically shuts off, or else after 20 minutes, or 5 minutes, or something

One of the stranger faults about these cars I have heard....good to hear it was just something minor and that it stopped!
