Another option is www.dynotunenitrous.com. I bought one of their dual gauges, boost on top and wideband on bottom, then stuck it to the dash with velcro. Nice small square, mostly matches the dash if you get blue background with black letters.

For boost I always prefer a swing needle gauge, just easier to see at a glance.

If you have HUD my vote goes for the dashtronix gauge projector. Very stealth. Puts the AFR and boost up on the windshield.

Does the needle gauge pulse around like the digital gauges do when cruising? or does it hold steady around the average number? Thanks.

A properly installed simple mechanical or electronic boost gauge should be smooth.

If it pulses either the gauge is faulty, or you need to damp the signal line to the gauge or map sensor for the gauge.

Sorry, I didn't specify which gauge I was asking about, I meant the wide band needle gauge

As much as a swing needle gauge would be nice for AFR's, and Innovate used to sell them.
I doubt they'd pulse anyway, as they'd have to be heavily damped. It probably isnt the best solution due to their slower response.

But as a reference gauge inside the car, I'm sure one would still be quite usable.

But my comment was directed only at a boost gauge. Digital boost gauge LCD's or whatever are crap IMO.

I use the VEI systems and it works great... If you dont care about a needle it will work. Im runing Boost/afr and IAT/fuel pressure.

I just came in here to suggest that as well. The aeroforce gives you a ton of parameters by default, and then you can add boost/wideband to it also.

AEM failsafe... Record 2.5 hours of data at all times... Best gauge out right now.
