Thanks revived. It's not about needing something cheap it's about wanting something cheap LOL yet something that will work and not sound cheap if that makes sense. I can just think of better things to buy for my car than some expensive muffler system when I can get what I'M looking for out of a delete for $100. I'm a picky girl and I would rather go cheap at first if I don't like it than to spend a butt load on a system and not like it. I appreciate your comments and opinions though.
That makes perfect sense to me, I too was in your position. More important to me was because I love loud but only have my Camaro to drive. Sometimes you don't want it super loud. I don't know what deletes sound like but I do know what cutouts are like im sure there similar. After cutouts I decided on adding headers and deleteing my cats and that finally achieved the LOUD I wanted, and by keeping my factory exhaust on the car when I shut the cutouts its nice and quite again.

This is what worked for me, it wasn't super expensive either so for the money I spent I am very VERY pleased. so this might also be something you might be interested in later on.

Thumbs up

I finally decided to go with the muffler delete. Thank you Black Diamond for referring me to Dave at Main Street Muffler. I think it made a huge difference

Why stay away from Midas? They're independent franchise shops and some of the best techs I've ever met work at some Midas shops. Definitely the best exhaust guys I've ever seen work at a couple Midas shops.

  5. Are any of you from Oregon? Looking for a decent place to go. I live in a small town but can head north to the Eugene area or south to the Medford area.
Thanks for the help

Love it
$120
No you need to hear it in person. Sound clips are worthless imo
Yes kept stock tips

Any non big chain exhaust shop will do it. Be very picky about getting everything aligned back up right and even. I spend an hour having them bend pipes to make sure the tips were aligned properly. I also have the tips sticking out about an inch

Dumb question but do you get any drone? Had drone on my 11 Mustang and my wife could not stand it at highway speeds.

Paid $120 today. I left the center resonator in place but lost the two rear.

Its perfect...mean at idle, can hear it at cruise but its not a drone.
