Made in America

Anyone know which North American aftermarket wheel manufacturers actually manufacture their wheels in North America, start to finish? In an effort to support local economies (or just ultimately prevent China from taking over the world ) I always make an effort to buy stuff made in North America, even if it means spending a few more bucks. Looking for flow forged wheels to be specific.

Nobody makes a flow forged wheel in North America. You either go Forged or next best thing is flow forged and made in Japan by HRE or Europe by OZ racing etc.

Made in american wheels are as follow sir

Vorsteiner forged
HRE Forged
Forgeline Forged wheels

As you can see U.S. wheels to my knowledge are all fully forged wheels.

Majority would be made overseas for cast and rotory forged wheels because cost is much less for production thus allowing for the cost to the end user to be less as well.

Fancy name for sub par wheels. And heavy wheels at that.

Paul from PK Auto Design already mentioned it, but HRE Forged wheels from start to finish are made inside the United States. The forgings we use are made in the USA as well as all the finish product which is machined and powdercoated at our facility, in house, in Vista, CA (San Diego).

You asked specifically for wheels which are flow formed, in which we do carry a FlowForm series that is designed at our facility, but is then manufactured in Japan.

To those interested in HRE wheels who are close enough to drive down and check out our manufacturing process, I'd be happy to show you around the facility, just PM me!
