Which 1LE to pick?
Looking at 2 AGM 1LE I had a prior post about the one but was hoping to maybe get a poll style vote as I am torn I like things about both:
Option 1: It's a 2014 2SS with heated recaros and all the 2SS options. Has a BTR Night Fury https://m.facebook.com/marketplace/i...9127265880666/ |

Option 2:
It's a 2015 1SS with Recaros and a comp cam. Prior accident history. https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=564072 I think I can get either within about $1,000 of each other so price is kind of a wash so let me know what you think Last edited by 96SS390; 12-23-2019 at 05:55 PM. I vote #1 due to 2SS and head ported, and I loved the night fury cam...

Clean title isn’t the end all be all. I have a a California buy back because the rear window kept scratching. I have all the GM paperwork. All the glass was removed. It was sent in 3 times which, from my understanding forces the manufacturer to buy the car back.
Long story short. In 2018 I got a 2015 2SS 1LE with recaros and the whistles with only 21K miles for 23K. Headers, Cold Air, Dyno Tune later and its a formidable car with zero issues. Clean should be for accidents unless you plan on flipping the car over quickly. |

I appreciate the insight hoping to get a few more opinions but seems to line up with what my thoughts were.
I like both cars a lot just I am struggling to think that saving $1k is worth the accident on file even though it was fixed appropriately and has 7k less miles. I can easily justify the $1k or so different in the gauge pack, heated seats, and the clutch work. |

LS3 ported heads are pretty darn good from what I’ve heard here and Even though #2 has rollcage I would still go with #1 it looks so sleek.

Welp wish I was saying I bought option 1. The guy told me he had no other parties interested before the holidays and no rush as he was going until Mexico January 3rd. Figured I would give him a day of and message him on Sunday to give him a day to get comfortable. Said it was still for sale on Sunday. Send him a message monday to start planning travel and unfortunately I guess someone showed up with Cash during the day.
I have an uncanny knack for this happening. Guess it's back to Option 2 or wait. Now I have a bitter taste in that I could have got quite a bit more car (i.e. clucth, heads, 2SS) for only $1,000ish more. Not sure I can shake that. |

Well damn. Just go get you a stock 13-14 1Le for cheaper and build it much more fun that way.
