I know somebody who used the lighter plug in the center console for power to the sub because it goes on and off with the car not sure if this is true I haven't checked it myself but it seems like a nice spot to connect to and easy to run the wires to the trunk from there.

So I got it in. Thanks for all the help. I ran the remote wire to my insides LEDS switch (which are off the battery).
Plus side: -I control all my electronics by hand with one switch. -It was super easy to wire. -I can totally turn off my sub on road trips and not have to open the trunk and turn it down by hand. -I didn't have to cut into any wires that came stock on the car. Down side: I cannot listen to my sub without having my led lights on. It was worth it to me. I don't really see a reason why I would want to listen to my sub specifically but not have my led footwells on. |
