Radar Detector

I haven't seen any good pics of the Rear view mirror. Anyone know if there is space above it to mount a Valentine?

Who else is putting a RD in their Maro?

Welcome to the site! Funny enough, no one has any shots of the roof line above the dash! Strange, huh?!

Yeh, Ive been around here for a while, thought i registered a while back, but obviously not. Thanks for the greeting.

I saw one picture of the RVM, but it was on the concept or photochopped.

Plus, with onstar, there will be a power source there, so that's an obvious plus.

Would definitely ruin the day to get a ticket when you unleash 400+ horses.

here is the best view of it I've seen so far, it is from the opposite side but it gives you a little idea of what room there is to work with

i was actually thinking about the radar as well last night...would be fun if you could have it factory installed in the radio to reduce clutter hehe

This is the best shot I've seen so far with the mirror in it. But they were a bit too low to truly answer your question.

Personally, I'm a Valentine One fan. Its has many features that others dont, and has been proven over and over to have much better range then the others.

The Escort 9500i is another great one. People often debate the two, but I prefer the valentine due to being able to see where the radar source is.

Here are some test results from GOL: http://www.guysoflidar.com/august-20...ctor-test.html

As you can see, the V1 beats everything.

Thanks for the link, I believe I have seen it advertised in Popular Science/Mechanics. It has 4 red arrows on it that shows the direction if I remember correctly. How much does it go for?
