Why was this thread moved?

I want to know what 5th gen ZL1 times are, not everyone's times.

Mods, 417 CI 10.5/1 compression, AllPro heads, TT, 3.07 rear, ZR1 trans gear ratio, 35 lbs of boost, C-16, 2000 + RWHP…

Best I can guesstimate is based on video, and knowing where I shift into 3rd…

So first gear, it starts making power and really launching at 60 mph, and 6000 rpm… Shifting at or close to 9000 rpm, and shifting into 3rd at about 140 mph… 60-140 is about 4 seconds, give or take… I can post the video and the time stamps are 1:37 60ish mph, and 1:41, missing 3rd at 140 mph… Still a world record mile for a 5th Gen at the time…225.8 mph mile… 140.8 quarter mile, 184.2 half mile… There was a lot more in the car, but driver mods and learning curves are tough… Missing gears sucks… but it happens… We were trying to sort out the 9000 rpm shifts, but never finished that as I had a heart attack and had to give up smoking tires and cigarettes… Now I just fish…

Not an exact science,
98-99 mph in first,
99-140 in second,
140-185 in third,
185-225 in 4th,
5th gear beyond that… who knows… Can’t go into 6th under power… 1-5 are billet gears,

Haven't figured out to post pics here. I just went and ran mine with 600 wheel, IAT1 was 105 degrees, IAT2 was 114 degrees when I started the run. As soon as you hit it IAT2 starts racking up like a gas pump on full blast.

Outside temp 90

DA 2120

60-130 was a 9.83

I am in the deeeep south of Alabama, humidity is pretty high.

In 43 degree air and a DA of-1500ft this car runs 8.50's

Here you go...
Step by step as it was taught to me...

1. In the "Quote" or "Post reply" edit box, look for the paperclip with the "Attachment" popup.

Name: #1.png
Views: 392
Size: 15.9 KB

2. Click on the paperclip or the drop down arrow, both take you to the same place and are only relevant when you are managing multiple images already attached. Click on the "Browse..." button, where it indicates No file Selected. This will take you to your computer file section where you can browse around and select the images you want, wherever you have them saved on your phone or computer. You may upload multiple photos, and so if you have a image in the given "browse" button, it will show you the file extension.

Name: #2.png
Views: 405
Size: 69.2 KB

3. Click on the image you want to upload and then click on the "open" button on the bottom right.

Name: #3.png
Views: 391
Size: 98.2 KB

4. When you have the image files "selected," you then click on the "upload button.

Name: #4.png
Views: 396
Size: 44.5 KB

5. The file link will then appear down below the selection and "upload from a URL" box. At this point, close the window. There is a button for this at the top right and bottom center of the page.

Name: #5.png
Views: 376
Size: 61.9 KB

6. Pushing the close window button will return you to the post "edit" box where you can type out your comments.

Name: #6.png
Views: 370
Size: 49.3 KB

I hope this helps.
