In Texas, that is considered snow. Anywhere else that gets snow during the winter, that is considered 1 minute on any given Tuesday.

I wish we could get snow in central Florida. Not ALOT, just enough for 4 snowballs so I could beam my wife and kids in the face

I am right in Delaware and I have the same thing. I am traveling to NY for Christmas and worried about making that trip on snow tires so I may be waiting until after the holidays to throw them on.

Looks like I am stuck driving the wife's minivan this weekend...

Long trips on snow tires are not too bad... where you are heading will have cold enough temps so the tires will be ok. If you were heading south then I would say leave the summer tires on. I had to do that for a wedding I went to in SC. Swapped back to the summer wheels for that weekend trip

I've lived in North Dakota and know what snow is. Here in San Antonio we had about 1-2" accumulation. We had snow

I get worried its going to get too warm if I am too far from the regular tires. Last year I didn't put my snow tires on once. I might go for it next week. It is easy enough to do.
