The few people that have gone this way seem to have had some pretty significant issues with the kit.... I think there are much better options out there...

KaBoom1701,

IPF has a GREAT Supercharger Kit for your car. You can ask anyone on here about there IPF Kit and you will hear good things. PM me if you are interested and we can discuss options.

Thanks,

Jesse!

Not to mention you'll need to supply oil to the turbo. I've heard they can be loud, The vortech V3 is a simple self contained unit.

KaBoom,

I have had a STS kit since mid 2011 and the following is a list of issues I have had with the kit.

- 2 Journal Bearing GT-35 turbos went bad with shaft play.

- 1 T-4 P-trim Ball Bearing turbo went bad with broken turbine blades.

- 2 oil scavenge pumps failed.

- A whole lot of oiling issues.

- Poor customer service and have spent alomst as much as the kit cost to repair/correct all the issues.

It is my strong recommendation that you and all other Camaro enthusiasts look to another company than STS to go FI. You will save thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours in time if you take my advice!

I think most that own the kit are slightly embarrassed to spill the beans so to speak. Most I have talked with via PMs have had similiar issues at some point in time. Maybe not as many as I have but two of the above issues seems to be standard (oiling/shaft play). If you or anyone else wants to know more details on my experience with the STS kit feel free to ask.

I think i was the first one on here with the sts kit,
problems one blown engine
one bad turbo
one broken oil pump
trifecta tuning sucks sorry to offend but remote tunes are horriffic.
my kits been heavly modded now.
i suggest all the others with loud oil pumps to move them to above the turbo and out of thier door frame
