ZL1 went for a 50 mile Sunday cruise with a mustang crew

So I went to super car Sunday with my buddy who drives a awsome GT 350 and his mustang club. I was with about 13 nicely modded 5.0 stangs and two GT 350's. We drove in a group to the show on a 20 mile freeway drive to the meet. I have to say the mustang sounds great and the new platform is great. They were all louder but not one of them was able to pull on my Z. I ran one of the 350's and several of the modded 5.0's let's just say I was a proud CHEVY owner. After the meet we drove Mulholland and Tuna canyon it was a great day.

My Z only has RotoFab air intake, big gulp kit and ww2 relocation kit. I'm not part of So-cal Head Turners I'll have to check them out. We didn't stop at the Rock store but did go right passed it. The show was at the topanga mall it's every Sunday usually the first Sunday of the month is the biggest crowd. I must say the mustang dudes were cool they accepted me right in.(probably helped my two buddy's were the ones with the GT350's) seems now that we're back into the AMERICAN muscle car wars as long as it's not a import we all can get along. Plus the Z held its own against the whole group. Only one I didn't get to test was a very highly modded supercharged lots of carbon fiber upgrades 5.0 truly was a cool day. Glad I got to show off the Z.

I gotta call BS on this story, or at the very least, the full truth is not being told. No department, especially a major metropolitan department like Orange PD, is gonna subject themselves to the liability of a large scale Fourth Amendment forfeiture issue like this is painted to be, and certainly not for the reasons cited. The front page of that affidavit shown, if it's even real, shows that the search warrant probable cause is based on the belief that a felony was/is being committed. No minor traffic violation related to a vehicle/bicyclist accident would warrant that, and what grounds to they have to call them a "criminal street gang"? Maybe there's some larger VIN switch issue going on here, or something else being investigated by their department's vehicle theft unit.....
