i heard the v6 is capped at 115mph? true? anyway to get rid of it?

118 ls, non rs LTs. 155 ss and rs models. it is a tire issue

Yeah, a tune can knock that out but i wouldnt do it unless you had the tires to do so.

Unless you are going to be racing on a track where you can go over 118 or 155 there is no reason to take it off for street use... Anywhere I know of in the USA it is not legal to run that fast on public highways.

Aren't the LS/LT tires only R rated? Thats what, 100-100 max?

I think the 19" tires and up are all Z rated anything under with b governed to 115 but dont qoute me on that

If it doesn't have Pirelli's on it, governed to 115. I do believe that starts with the 19" wheels. Then one gets 155.

like im asking is the MOTOR itself Capped

yeah the motor will hit 167 i believe, but its limited to 155 for our P Zeros, 118 for the LS tires. Cant remember all the rating so i wont use them. But 167 is top speed

Yes the motor will go over 115 but your going to have to get it tuned or somthing to get the limiter off the car to go faster

Yes I believe it voids your warranty, no need to go that fast on the street
