As a newbie with the Z, I was playing with the drivers information screens yesterday. It has some nice information. Curious what screens others are using on the track (and street)? Are most using tire pressure or accelerameter or? The lap time feature seems to be a bit clumsy and don't think you could be all that accurate with it. Just curious.

Oil pressure/temp, tire psi, speed are my defaults

Without exception I use the tyre pressure one when I'm actually driving on circuit. My thinking being that it is the only real time display that might actually help prevent an accident. It's possible it might pick up a slow puncture before you felt it, it also gives you an indication of the rears starting to overheat and go over pressure towards the end of a longer stint. Just my 2p

Same here!

I have 2 AeroForce gauges and the nGauge but, I really watch my tire temps for exactly the reason stated by Pat.

I created a scan approach and my first look is tire pressure (scan all pressures, then all temps)...

This is exactly what I monitor as well. I don’t pay as much attention to the speed because I have telemetry for that but from time to time it is nice to see if the speed is consistent into or out of a specific turn and the speedometer just isn’t as easy to read at speed.

I watch tire pressure. My car has an oil cooler so I do not pay attention to temps.

I was once watching the tire pressures and noted a radical drop in the front right. shortly after I was off the track in the grass, had picked up a screw in the front tire.

^^ That. I always watch my pressure. I had the opposite though.. pressure went up to about 35-37 (hot day and was experimenting with pressures). I have never had temp issues, even in the middle of summer in Texas, and I don't care what my speed is on track as I go by feel for acceleration and braking/go by foot markers before turns.
