been bucking at around 2k here for a week or so , so yesterday wife stops and puts gas in it (same place as always), gets in , hard to start, barely runs right and is bucking all the way home now, ive read other post were
it was everything from a cracked spark plug , to a loose wire or coil, even a bad battery,...if all that checks out , is there any diagrams for the crankshaft sensor being changed out?

any other items i need to check on , or should i just change the sensor first and then go from there?

thanks in advance!

There are a few other posts about this same issue (I've responded to some of them in the past).

In the previous posts, you are correct, people were finding the problem to be spark plug, plug wires, coil pack, battery, etc. When I was having the issue, we replaced the crankshaft position sensor (checked the original and it was good)....it did not fix the problem....we found some wires where the insulation had slipped off and they were banging around by the starter.....re-insulated them and tucked them up so they wouldn't fall down by the starter again....thought for sure that was the issue but it kept happening.

I eventually changed the battery out a few months ago (battery was 2yrs old at this point) and I've never experienced the problem again. The shop that does work on my car also has a Camaro and they were experiencing the same problem with theirs. They also changed out their battery (was 2 1/2yrs old) at the same time and the problem stopped for them as well.

I hope the fix for your car is just as simple as mine turned out to be.

Just had the same codes show up. Last time I drove it was on date night with my wife about 1.5 weeks back, and it was great. I did my usual "hit the gas under the freeway bridge" to scare my wife... all in good fun of course. The battery barely had enough juice to start the car. I have it on the trickle charger now hoping that once it's fully charged this problem will go away.

I too had a dead battery last month and after we recharged it the car started to act like it was misfiring all over the place and working on 1/2 the power. I was really concerned until I realized of all things it was a battery issue.

So it was just a defective new battery?
Autozone checked my new one that I've had for 2 months and they said it was good idk what it is it won't even crank no power at all but when I jump it starts fine no issues until recently the last time I was driving off and when it would try to go to 2nd it starts bucking and everything but at idle it sits fine

These cars have battery issues,
basically the computers in the car are on all the time. This drains the battery, especially if the car is not a daily driver.
This problem gets worse when the weather is really cold.

My car was throwing codes, the tach stopped working, it left me stranded and I had to call roadside assistance for a jump.

Get a float charger, which is just a trickle charger that does not over charge.
I use the Battery tender Jr. I got it at WalMart for around $30.
Problem solved, for me anyways.

Did you ever come up with anything on the p0335? Saw this code on my HPT scanner tonight. Only thing is my car doesn’t seem to have any symptoms others have stated. I drive the car about 1 time a week. Just wondering if you could shed any light on this? Thanks
