I had a weird thing happen when I bought my Camaro. I just wanted financing for about 5 months as I was going to pay it off after that. They still set me up with 5 years of payments. Anyway, after having the car for a week, the dealer called me to come down and sign another set of finance papers. Seems they found another bank with cheaper interest. Well, fine I head down and do it. Then they did it again! WTF, I appreciate their effort but it was a 40 mile drive and I only wanted financing for 5 month's. Never had that happen in my long life before.

I'm confused, your sig says that you drive a 2011 RS, was that the one you just gave back, or was that the one you traded? Something doesn't add up here, maybe your dealer is trying to pull something?

Same thing almost happened to me when I bought mine. I fought it like crazy and they finally found a bank who would finance. It was awful. :(

It's between this one and another from Carmax for about the same price, normal rims, and 47k miles. I will be at the dealership tomorrow to see about the price going down any before they ship it. What about the rims though? Keep or swap?

You know yourself if you have bad credit or not. If you have a credit union that will cut you a check right away....while nobody else will. Then maybe ..just maybe preapprove your next purchase with them. Im still not sure how they will do it right away , and nobody else would. My experience tells me[cars,house,boats etc] that if my credit is good at one bank...its good at the bank next door. Good luck.

word of help here:
i bought by 2014 zl1 home..it was late..financing couldnt be completed....(9-10pm....)..dealers a great dealer..filled up car i drove home..next day or two they finished it all up..got me a reputable bank..(bbt)..and a great rate also...those that never experienced a great dealership..really shoudnt pass bad advice......its now always a shady dealer tactic. if ya wanna know the dealership in va..ill tell ya. been there 3 time snow
