Yes but you’ll likely never buy another clutch again. Carbon on carbon wears so little the clutch could outlast the car if you’re a good driver

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I'll go with the rst. ( organic). I'll follow my transmission guys advice. I guess if I'll be pumping more cash into hpi can get another clutch if needed for the power.

Summit racing site has a few clutch kits. I don't know the difference between them. Thought I had the right kit in my cart but then saw another that seems the same.. Confused. Covid makes calling them impossible.

McLeod RST Street Twin Clutch Kits 6305507- aluminum FW
McLeod RST Street Twin Clutch Kits 6406807- steel FW.

Check out some of the vendors here to see what pricing they could do.

Check this video out too. Explains the red/yellow/black adapter plates. They typically recommend getting a new flywheel.

Do you do any road courses at all, or all street?

All street. No track or road courses. I just want to get the right parts. I don't want to annoy my shop service writer. Tough to discern the differences in those kits. They all say the flywheel is included, but in the pics i don't think there's a flywheel.... Not only that but says"bolts to flywheel" or something like that. Maybe an adapter that bolts to flywheel, but i don't know for sure

The first clutch set has an aluminum flywheel. The second link is for the steel flywheel version.

Both kits come with the flywheel, but the material is different. I hve always ran the steel flywheels.

From my research, you typically always want to use a new flywheel. For your situation, a steel FW is preferred.

For the clutches mentioned within this thread, are they as easy to press as the OEM clutch or stiffer? Thanks

I have an RXT with the steel flywheel. Its about the same as stock. Drivability is pretty different. Requires some rpm to not chatter.

I put in a Monster twin disk with the steel flywheel. It performance is amazing and feel is similar to stock. A little firmer due to the twin disk.

Monster lt1-s triple here - other than alittle mishap with a shim for my slave cylinder that was forgot in the packaging- the clutch performs flawlessly and pretty much feels stock .. good piece of mind having a clutch that can handle what you throw at it ..

If you drive on the street stay away from the lightweight flywheels you have to rev very high or the car will stall when you let out on the clutch.

Mantic triple is lighter than stock. I had a double and it always made a clunking noise so I had it upgraded to a triple and it has better manners now. Uses the ZR1 slave and a spacer.
