Carbon Interior Kits?

Have been looking around for some Carbon Interior Kits to make the interior look a little bit cooler, I've found a few but some seem oddly cheap for the amount of pieces you're getting and others are wildly expensive...

https://www.carid.com/remin/carbon-f...urlId=83593792 - Crazy Cheap for exmaple.

Anyone ordered pieces or a kit for their ZL1? If so Where? / Good? / Bad?

Not a fan of stickers. I think you run the risk of making the interior look cheap, especially if the stickers don't line up perfectly or start to peel off over time.

The OEM dash panel, steering wheel, and shift knob are your only options for "real" carbon fiber pieces in the interior. There are some real carbon fiber over lays on e-bay but you have to watch closely because most of the advertised stuff isABS plastic that's been hydro-dipped. The hydro-dip pattern will not match true CF and will stick out like a sore thumb.

I stuck with real carbon fiber for my interior. Not cheap but I agree it gives the inside of the ZL1 a richer look.

Steering wheel and shift knob came from Wildhammer motorsports. Dash panel can be purchased from any GM parts supplier. I got mine from that GM parts guy.

Does the heated steering wheel still work with the carbon fiber wheel?

You lose the heating function, but does it really get used that much? I highly recommend the carbon fiber parts from Windhammer Motorsports, really nice products and good customer service. I just got my carbon fiber steering wheel installed and looks really good!

I’ve been talking with the guy from CamaroSwag and I know his pieces are hydrodipped but personally it still looks better than the silver plastic pieces. He’s willing to make custom bundles etc if you’re wanting / not wanting pieces in some of the list bundles and makes it cheaper than adding 1 by 1

There are some videos on youtube that'll guide you through it. Very easy, took about 15-20min taking my time.

That looks really good. I want to get that same Alcantara “performance” center console lid. I just can’t get myself to drop the coin on it.

Thanks for the kind words on my interior. Check out shopchevyparts.com. They offer a pretty good discount on the replacement console lids.

Personally I find little touches like this very nice, regardless of stickers or not takes away some silver plastic looking junk that shouldn’t be there to behind with in a car like this.
