what level of cell honeycomb i want for high flow cats?
what are stock cats for 2015 ss camaro as far as cell(400?) count? what cell number do i want for high flow or do i even know what im talking about?
for ex., how can a high flow cat be high flow when it is listed as a 400 cell cat? thats the same as the stock oem cats if im not mistaken, so how can it be high flow? i see ads for after market high flow cats and when u look at the specs its listed as a 400 cell catalytic converter. so how can that be high flow when its no different that the stock cats? or am i just way off from understanding? thanks in advance

Most hi-flow cats are 200 per sq inch but you can get even lower 100 cell race and 50 cell ultra race - http://mandrelbendingsolutions.com/

yea if its 400 stock and the high flow is 400 there isn't going to be a flow difference there. I believe, as stated above 200 or less is what you want.

majority of what you’ll find will have 200 cells and work just fine. Don’t get anything above 200 cells, and if you can find them get 100 cell cats.

The speed engineering header is a 3" exit. not sure on the exhaust side size.

so i assume the cats have to be 3 inch wide for weld and if 2.5 inch, should slide in and use clamps?
