They are doing the machine work for sure but I think Ron is doing the final assembly. Yes I am still going to the shootout and then it goes under the knife for a steroid injection.

I completely dig the Whipple....and would recommend it heartily to anyone but I want to go LOW 9s....and I think an F1R is probably a better path to get there.

Still debating Whipple plus spray versus F1R...I wish some of those Texas boys would get to a track and see what they can do.....

Even if you keep the whipple and spray it, there are people like me that are going to have the F1R and spray it, so you know you are going to want more either way. Kinda like I wish I had gone twin turbo now since I am so into taking my car to the track now.

My shaft was coming apart at the back of the trans and caused some bearing issues and leaks.

Give me a good deal on your F1R and you could still go twins....

An F1R will take you to 12 to 1300 with the right combo...if you need more than that then your building the wrong car to begin with...at least in my opinion.

Exactly. A friend of mine was in the 8.60's In the 1/4 in his vette before he finally broke down and bought axles. No way you would do that in a camaro. He has a RHS 427 proline motor with an F2 so be low 8's high 7 now.

My biggest problem is there will never be enough. I grew up racing motorcycles all my life and have always modded cars and trucks but this is my first real build and I am so hooked now on going fast in the 1/4 that I know this is only the beginning. I already have plans to build a Z06 with the F2 in the future or twins but I dont ever plan on selling this car as I really enjoy it and love the styling and have way to much blood, sweat, tears and $$$ to ever part with it.

I'm still on the M6 for now so 60' is kind of hit or miss....Ron can drive a stick pretty well so I expect he'll be able to torch a few 1.50s through it and probably see some 10.6xs or so.....we're only running 10lbs of boost.

We are going to run it at the IRS shootout and then the car is coming apart and getting an RHS 427 and an RPM 4L80e and it looks like a Procharger F1R for a supercharger. You guys have a nice setup with that Novi but I am looking to actually go low 9s on this next build.

See you at the shootout...I am anxious to see your car...it is badass with that little Novi cranking it out.
Thanks man, ya it will be cool to catch up with you down there.. Just so you know our kit does get optioned with a YSi, 10-Rib; which has taken us well into the 8's before Good luck either way you guys go, Procharger is a great head unit also, the ARH boys are running mid to low 9's right now on the F1R they have.

LOL. Come get some ! It is all in friendly fun, Shawn at Lethal has been a colleague of ours for years we'd be happy to see him go faster than us with our kit!

I'm going to go make some test hits at Atco tonight seeing as tomorrrow they are calling for snow!

See you soon.
