If you do just want a brighter bulb though. I like these better, especially for the dome lights. They can be as cheap as $1 a pair on eBay.

Nope. None of your exterior bulbs are LEDs besides your halos. This is what's in there stock.

is it me, or do the AAC ones not fit right on most cars. It always looks like they need to be thicker or curved a bit, like they dont fit with the panels.

I guess since they are made from scratch, and not a modified OEM one. All the more reason to DIY

Mine fit fine. They are molded to OEM specs but not made from actual OEM markers. Maybe some inconsistencies in the molds or the extra thickness of paint and/or silicone to seal it makes some fit oddly. Haven't experienced that first hand though.

AND

Second.. That will look just like stock. You will have a ton of light in the middle and nothing on the ends if you paint a slit on the lens.

40-45 leds spaced 1mm apart look much better and brighter.

THATS WHY.

In fact what you could do is get 2 80 led Radiantz Arrays (1 yellow and 1 red).. Then cut them yourself. That comes out to $112.

Mach, do you think there is enough room to make the led's into a rectangle around the inside edge of the marker? i thought it might be a cool look. I was thinking of doing to to my stock set since they are currently out of the car.

Thats a great idea, especially if you did the same thing with paint, and left the LED unpainted

It is definitely doable to do two strips, one on top one on bottom, like an equal sign, my dads 79 Z28 has a setup like that on his side markers

You'd probably have to cut 4 pieces, one for each side of the square (solder wires on and splice them together) because they don't bend at that angle while still keeping the light forward.

Vroomapunks suggestion of an equal sign would be easier....and might look better than a square in my opinion.
