Cool... and thanks for the info. They were supposed to lower it, but I never heard back. The OP says 109. I'll change it.

All these hotels have different rules etc. Just read the fine print or ask if you think you might have to cancel.

Yea I was going to do that but the front desk told me that the online reservation can not be canceled and is charged to your card when you book it. They could be wrong though

I Guess they were wrong. Might as well cancel and book online. Saves almost 30 dollars a night

Just did it online. Will cancel the over the phone one later today. It came out to 252 after tax compared to 300 before tax

A lot of the Houston crew will be at La Quinta, so if you want to be with the cool group you know where to go..
