Good tire shop in Tucson

Hello,

I was wonder if anyone had suggestions for a good tire shop that wont damage my wheels when installing new tires? When I got my new wheels I took it to Discount tire and they damage all 4 of them. I head the Discount tire on Oracle has a touchless machine.

My P Zeros are getting a little worn in the rear. I only have 9600 miles. No burn outs but when It's time to go I go.

Any help would be appreciated.

Through research I will probably go with Jack Furrier on 22nd. I talked with one of their sales guys and they have a touchless mounting machine. I will update when I get the tires done.

Well I got my tires installed at Jack Furriers on 22nd. They do have a touchless tire machine but they still put surface scratches on all of my wheels. A couple of places have deeper scratches you can feel with your nail.

They will be contacting a wheel repair service to try and buff out the surface scratches. This thread was meant for information and not to bash the shop. They were level headed and are taking care of the issue.

I have black chrome 2015 OEM wheels.

I just had new tires installed at the new Discount Tire Store in Rita Ranch @ Houghton and Old Vail Rd. They have a couple guys that specialize in changing tires on expensive wheels. They did not scratch or mar my stock 1LE wheels.

I've heard good things about the Discount in Oro valley (on Oracle). The Discount on Ina near Harbor Freight is worthless, imo.

I know, old thread, but have any of you found a good service location in Tucson? Watson or O'Rielly? Is a trip up to PHX to J+R worth it? I'm talking about basics like oil change, inspection, etc. I'm just concerned that they don't know the 1LE and might jack something up. Are my concerns unfounded?

Your concerns are unfounded. If you have basic mechanical skills, you can tackle all those maintenance items with ease. Save yourself the $$, and do it yourself. There are countless threads in the DIY section that will help you out.
