Isn't 38 pounds of boost the equivelant of what youd find in the tires holding our cars up?

The system used on the dyno is the same that is in the car. You program the computer to control the ratio of pump gas to race gas. e.g. Do you want your Captain Morgan all coke or all Captain Morgan or somewhere in between ?
