ANYONE NEED A NEW ENGINE

If anyone need a new engine , Jegs has a LS7 for $12000.00 free shipping . Hell of a great deal.

Dang I'd love to drop one in my car. Trying to behave until it's fully paid off. Although new heads and cam are in the near short future for my LS3.
Free shipping on that really does sweetened the deal though.

The beauty of the LS7 swap is it is NA and about the same weight so your handling won't suffer . And you can sell your old motor to recoup some of the cost . And it has a warranty. A set of hoses and a dry sump tank a set of headers and a tune and your GTG.

Yeah buddy. That's the plan little by little.
Honestly if my LS3 ever took a dump I would go with the LS7 though with a built bottom end. For what a monster that motor is at the cost you can't beat it or find anything with that hp and weight that can drop right in our cars.

I'm kind of on the fence right now as to how much I want to do with the 1LE. Definitely heads and cam next month probably. I'm hung up on keep
Building it up or stop after the cam and new heads and keep it in use for auto cross and aggressive street etc.

With the drag strip so close (10 min away)its hard not to buy and build a dedicated drag car which would be a 2 speed auto trans. Almost complete opposite of what our 1LE's are. Been peeking into good salvaged cars to do it with. This thread gave me the idea to find a salvage and drop in a LS7 with a 2 speed. Car would be fully gutted so the interior wouldn't matter.

Ya don't want to do that , cars come and go but a good woman ain't so easy to find these days .
If ya want to cry I can tell you the story of the 1967 L89 Corvette 4 speed convertible vs my 2nd wife . I still get a chill every time I think about it . Got the car after a heated 3 month argument lost it in the divorce along with 3/4 of everything else including a very nice house .
