There really is no replacement and just another 10 down the line from your previous one!

Before we left for C&C in Pittsburgh, this morning. I swapped shift knobs. Installed the original from my previously owned #48 car onto this #58 car Proceeded to clean #58's knob. Only 2,000 mi. of use and the filth of dead skin and grease just fell out of it. I cleaned #48's in the same manner years ago, with the same results. Glad I kept it.

1st ride in this car

Hot tap water, dab of Dawn dish soap, and tooth brush

1st glass of hot tap water/soap and scrub

2nd glass of hot tap water and scrub

3rd glass of hot tap water and scrub

After cold water rinse, scrub, and drying

Fun, Enjoy the morning with family!
And the shift knob looks great. I have to learn how to take it off...

Looks great. Glad to have helped.

You can use this on the steering wheel. Similar process with toothbrush. Just more labor intensive since multiple microfiber towels with clean warm water will be needed to dilute the cleaner. Then multiple needed to dry.
