Go with an exhaust or K&N intake system. If you have questions send me a PM..I can hook you up with some great prices...

And congrats on the new ride. That is what I started with and now I am addicted to Camaros!

I can get you a great deal on a K&N intake kit. There are a lot of sites otu there that are good. But i am building my own now. www.zzmotorsports.com I am still woking on it so the online store is not working yet. But Let me know what you are lookign for and I can get you the hook up!

Search for my group buys on this site, you will see I am legit and have a good rep!

Sorry to but in again, but they are essentially the same. They are all in the category of a cold air intake....which simply means they are built to take air from outside the engine bay, and get it to the engine as smooth as possible.
The short ram, just does it by having a very short intake tube and then a filter on it, within the engine bay itself.

The problem with the V6 car, is that there is not a lot of choices out there. The aftermarket really focused on the V8 car which leaves the V6 wanting more!

If it has a lot of mile son it you should get an oil that will help avoid leaks.
I would ensure that all trany and rear end fluid has been changed recently, your alternator is functioning properly, yoru radiator has clean fluids, and your battery is strong.
That is what I always say to friends whom want me to work on their used cars when they buy one.
