2012 2SS Supercharged build
I plan on doing my first round of upgrades to my 2012 Camaro 2SS AUTO L99. My goal is for about 600RWHP weekend cruiser. I want a PD root type blower so I think the whipple would be the best option for me. Also I want the option for more power in the future. I have a list of everything I plan on throwing at the car and I am looking for feedback from forum members on my build. Please tell what I am missing and what I might want to change.
Engine: Whipple supercharger tuner kit with 3.75 pulley GT9 cam with dual spring kit L99 to LS3 conversion DOD delete kit ZR1 Head Gasket Roto-fab whipple intake kit Kooks 1-7/8 coated headers with catted mids Magnaflow Street Cat-back LPE Twin Pump kit ID850 injectors ZL1 MAP sensor Dynotune Exterior: Nurburgring 20x10 rear with 305/35 goodyear F1 Supercar G1 tires Nurburgring 20x8.5 front with 255/45 goodyear F1 supercar tires Thanks for any input |

Only thing I would change is go with a wider front wheel/tire. Unless you only care about going in a straight line that thing will understeer a LOT with that much of a tire size difference, especially without going to a stiffer sway to try and counteract it. Granted you could probably use the new power to create oversteer but with a lot of power that can also be risky if you're not used to driving on the edge.
I'd look at a 275 or 285. |

A 20x10+35 up front works and is available in a few different rotary forged TSW's and should work fine with the 285 supercar G2. Pretty sure they don't offer a 275.
The handling difference alone will be amazing. You'll have a fun ride. |

I have 600rwhp with much of what your planning. We also installed some better plugs and wires as well as the ARP head bolts and a trunion kit. You are also going to want to get some gauges to keep an eye on things!

You also need a set of hardened pushrods. Also while the heads are off you should go ahead and upgrade to ARP head studs as well Chris |

Would any drivetrain upgrades be needed if I just ran with the whipple, intake, and exhaust?

Haven't got to the heads/Cam part yet. Making right at 500 to the wheels. With the power you'll be making wheel hop and suspension stress will be a problem. You should look into some rear suspension upgrades while the tank is out for a new fuel pump. No reason to pay twice the labor
