Exclamation Hurst Factory Short Throw Shifter

I had this shifter as one of my options on my 2010 Camaro. It wasnt available when my car was built. Does GMPP sell this factory shifter? I would like to buy one now but dont know where to find it.

You should look into the aftermarket Hurst or Barton Shifters. Shorter throws than the factory one. The install is pretty easy and the price is not to bad. The Hurst billet plus 2 come with a factory upper stick if you want to retain your factory knob. Check Atlanticspeed.com

The after market Hurst Billet shifter is better than the GM Hurst shifter.

I have the Hurst Billet plus aftermarket short throw and it has a 44% shorter throw than stock. The GM Hurst short throw is 22% shorter throws. Mine is a little harder to shift due to less leverage available because of the shorter throw. I like it a lot but it isn't for everyone! The GM shifter is a compromise between having a shorter throw and still more comfort and ease of operation. It also may be a little quieter, the aftermarket short throws tend to transfer some of the transmission gear noise into the cabin, not much though, just a minor annoiance on hard accelleration primarily! Is the aftermaket one better than GM's? It's all up to what you're looking for!

Installed my Hurst billit plus last weekend. As with the Hurst reputation this shifter ROCKS. Less than 2 " from 1st to 2nd. Very positive feel in all gears.
