I was also going to upgrade my cam and heads, but I can't even put the power down now. Gonna work on suspension first. The results from last night made it very clear.

This car should easily run 11's! 2 factors that he needs, TIRES & DA!
Aren't you cammed Jeff? And stalled? PTB and Ported heads?

It is possible to get better 60fts with stock suspension. I have completely stock suspension and rear end and i can run 1.7-1.8 all day long.

But it definitely wouldnt hurt. The biggest opportunity you are missing out on right now are the tires.

I agree. So as of yesterday bigger cam and milled heads are on the bottom of the list. Suspension mods and 18" wheels with slicks are first.

^^ you don't need to worry about suspension in an A6! I've cut 1.56 60fts on just a bolt on car with 365hp!

Rhino cuts 1.48 I believe and he's still running stock suspension.

Spend that money on tires and some lighter wheels.

I think this is a better idea. Master putting down the current power level you are at now, before adding more to your plate.

It will just make it that much more difficult to put it down then.

Cool. If the stock suspension will hold as it is them I can have the wheels that much quicker.

I lost a race last night I should have won due to shitty stock tires. But gave that M3 hell all night.

Yeah it will hold for sure.

general rule of thumb is every tenth you can knock off of you 60ft... doubles at top end.

So roughly look at it as if you could knock 1/2 a second off your 60ft and get down to a low 1.7 for example... That would be close to a full second off your 1/4 time.

I noticed also that at some points its shifting very quickly. I shifted 2 times in a second or two past the 1/8. Is this just the stall doing its thang?

Have yall had a chance to look at some of the videos?

do you mean shifting quickly as like at a low RPM, or as in like the amount of time it took to go from one gear to the next was quick.

and i am at work where youtube is blocked. So i will look later.

Its at higher rpm. around 5000-6000 it shifts then shifts again a second or 2 later. and runs until the end.

Very noticeable in the first video. Check it out later. Maybe Im just over analyzing it.

With that description sounds like your shift points need to be reconfigured.

Do you log at all while at the track? and yeah, i will check them out when i get a chance.
