Thanks for the clarification Poindexter.
Agreed, it was a stupid comment on my part. I liked your reference... I guess that's why i picked 'you' to quote before I went on my rant.

Where I live, no domestic animals are allowed to roam free. The owners must keep the pet on their property or on a leash. Yes, even cats.

Lucky for me, the city is required by ordinance to enforce it.

Squirrels, rabbits, rats, skunks, armadillos, coyotes, bobcats are target practice.

Mix some Tomcat bait with cat food, I'm sure that will solve your issue.

I used to trap the strays until I found a rats nest on top of my engine cover made partially from the sound insulation from along the firewall. I hate cat tracks on my car but I hate rat nest worse. As I was about to set yet another live trap for another cat the wife says...What about the rats? Ding.....no more rat problem and I now not only tolerate cats,I encourage there presence.

I put a small rubber snake behind my car and sprayed a critter deterrent spray around but he still finds my Camaro irresistible as a place to lay his head once and a while.

Any suggestions? Maybe a bigger rubber snake? I might be willing to chain a Pit Bull to my car to stop this a hole..

He doesn't have a regular schedule so it's hard to figure out when he will be back again.

Maybe fresh cat food every night might be my only chance.

I like all critters , but he has to go.
Invest in a car cover. Cheap or expensive you'll protect your Camaro plus maybe the cat will go away.

I can speak with experience on this, a car cover wont help.
I had a stray cat that wouldn't stay of my camaro so I bought a car cover, now I have 8 stray cats that absolutely love laying on the covered car.

i don't have that problem anymore as the guy with 17 cats moved. the two or three in the area haven't been car hopping, windshield sliding or of the fender scratching-to-get-a-grip-on-a-waxed-finish variety. high powered squirt gun is your best option. also make certain you don't have a mice. they will walk all over a car with mice living inside.

Ih he likes the sunroof to sleep put something on it that would prevent him from getting to comfortable. Maybe a bigger rubber snake to lay right on the sunroof.
