Any modifications to run id1000 injectors??

Hey all,

My friend has a ZR1 that is pretty highly modded and just bought the injectors which are 14mm taller than the stock ones. He wanted to know if any modifications to the fuel rail are needed since the LSA and the LS9 looked very similar. He says that rumor is there's a way to "space" your fuel rail to get the injectors to fit, but wanted to know is the CTS-V and ZL1 owners needed to do anything to get the id1000's to fit.

Id850s are an exact fit with no spacers or wire connectors needed. I believe id1000s fit the same.

ID1000 application guide states they will work on a LSA, but not LS9. You may be able to have them send a different adapter for the top of the injector

ID1000's will need a 14mm spacer on the fuel rail when using the 48mm length ID-1000s. The 1000's do not come in the 34mm injector body length which is the factory length (The 850s, 1300s, 2000s do come in the 34mm length).

Any questions let me know, we do a lot with ID great injector!

First you must determine if there is room to space the rails 14mm higher.

If not exchange them for ID-850s they flow 96 lbs. per hour at 4 bar which is enough for close to 1200 Crank HP, if he needs more the new ID-1300s would work.
